Филологие щlэныгъэхэм я кандидатщ, адыгэбзэм и lуэхугъуэ щхьэхуэхэм ятеухуауэ монографие къыдигъэкlащ, журналхэм, тхылъхэм и статья куэд итщ. Илъэс 20 - м щlигъукlэ щlэныгъэлl нэхъыжьу Къэбэрдей-Балъкъэр щlэныгьэхутэ институтым, абы иужькlэ Егъэджакlуэхэм я щlэныгъэм щыхагъахъуэ институтым кафедрэ унафэщlу щыlащ. 1991 гьэм хахауэ нобэр къыздэсым "lуащхьэмахуэ" журналым и редактор нэхъьщхьэу мэлажьэ.

Зэрыцlыкlу лъандэрэ Борис дехьэх сурэт щlыным. Абы и lэдакъэщlэкl щхьэхуэхэр хэтащ ди республикэми нэгъуэщl щlыпlэхэми щекlуэкlа выставкэ куэдым. Илъэс и пэкlэ /2001 гъэм/ Къэбэрдей-Балъкъэрым и Лъэпкъ музейм lутlыжым и lэдакъэщlэкlхэр щагъэлъагъуэ выставкэшхуэ къыщызэlуахауэ щытащ.

Boris Kuneevich Utizhev was born in 1940 in Zaragizh in the vicinity of Cherek in Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. He is kabardian(adyg). In 1968 he graduated from the Kabardino-Balkarian state University, then the post-graduate study in the Linguistics Institute of the Georgian Academy of sciences. Boris Utizhev is a linguist concerned with adyg languages and a Candidate of Philological Sciences. He has a monograph, many articles in science collections and journals. He had been working in Kabardino-Balkarian Research Institute for more than 20 years and had been the head of the Native languages and cultures chair in Kabardino-Balkarian Institute of Professional skill Level Improving. Since l99l he is the chief editor of the literary magazine "Oshkhamakho".
Boris Utizhev is the national writer of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. He is the author of 20 plays(the majority of which were staged), many scripts, shorts stories, verses, publicitic and popular science articles, etc. Utizhev's plays were staged not only in Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, but in the theatres of several neighboring republics too its plays staged in the Kabardian Theatre were shown in Maykop, Cherkessk, Elista, Vladikavkaz and Moscow. In l996 the Kabardian Theatre had been successfully touring the performance "Damaley" by Utizhev's play through the cities of Turkey(Istanbul, Ankara, Casary, Gecsun, Adana, Mercin). Boris Utizhev published l2 books. The tragedy "Tirgatao" is translated into Arabic language and is published as a separate edition in Syria (Damascus).
Since childhood Utizhev took a great interest in fine arts and took part in all republic and several all-union exhibitions of amateur painters. In January 2001 the first personal exhibition of Boris Utizhev's works took place in the Kabardino-Balkarian National Museum.
Boris Utizhev has the title of "Honored Culture worker of Russian Federation".
